Monster Mash Party Mix Recipe

Monster Mash Party Mix Recipe

Ingredients:

10.5 oz of mini peanut-butter-filled crackers (Ritz)
11 oz of pretzel twists (small)
1 c of peanuts (dry roasted)
1/2 c of butter (unsalted)
1 c of sugar (white)
1/2 c of corn syrup (light)
2 Tbsps of vanilla extract
1 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 pkg of candy corn (18.5 ozs)
10 oz of chocolates (M&M’s, plain)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven at 250 degrees F.

Place Ritz crackers on a bowl; add the pretzel twists and the peanuts; combine well. Transfer onto a greased pan; press firmly then set it aside.

Combine syrup, sugar, plus butter on a saucepan above moderate heat. Let it boil at about five mins. Take out from the heat then add soda and vanilla while stirring continuously. Pour onto the crust in the pan and spread evenly.

Bake inside the oven for forty-five mins; stir every ten mins. When done, transfer on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Break while it is still hot. Let cool.

When completely cooled, toss together with the candies. For storage, place inside airtight jars or containers.
